PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are synthetic chemicals used in non-stick cookware, firefighting foam (AFFF), and industrial products. They are called forever chemicals because they do not break down in the environment.

Exposure to PFAS-contaminated drinking water has been linked to kidney cancer, thyroid disease, ulcerative colitis, and other serious conditions. Military bases and municipal water systems are common sources.

Thousands of lawsuits have been filed against manufacturers like 3M and DuPont. If your drinking water was contaminated and you have a related health condition, you may have a claim.
